WEEKLY HOMEWORK UPDATES
September 28th through October 2nd:
Monday-
Read chapters 10-13 of Catcher in the Rye. Type up a one page journal response about how you feel about Holden at this point in the book. Is his character changing? Growing? How does he treat others?
Tuesday-
Read chapters 14-15. Comprehension quiz will be taken the following period.
Wednesday-
Start brainstorming ideas for character analysis project
Thursday-
Read chapters 16-19. Write a couple of sentences summarizing main points/ideas of each chapter. We will use these as a basis for discussion during class.
Friday-
Finish reading book. Bring paper topic for character analysis project.
