*Join us for our "Community Day" teaching students the importance of volunteer work and giving back to the community. September 15th Time will be announced soon!
*Attend a board meeting: help us discuss and schedule homework assignments and activities for parents to become involved in. Sept 30th 8:00 pm
*Intramural hockey Wednesdays. Sign your team up now (5 students and 5 adults per team)Great way to interact with your classmates and other families!
*Come watch the Wild Cats dominate in Basketball this season! Games will take place Tuesday and Thursday nights in the main gym
*Help us walk dogs and other pets and the Humane Society October 20th, November 6th & 24th
*Community clean up! November 12th
*Help organize our bake sale. Proceeds go towards new uniforms for the girls volleyball team. Bake sale will take place October 30 during the school day.
*Come out to the art fair! Feel free to contribute as well as see the hard work of our students on November 17th at 6:30 in front of the main gym.
NEW THIS YEAR:
Reading Circle (open for anyone interested in literature)
We will meet once a week every Wednesday after school to engage in a discussion about the novel we are reading at the time. The texts will be selected at the start of the school year based on a discussion between the students and myself. I will provide a list of options of contemporary works as well as best sellers.
